Greater Charlotte Hot Lunch Cooperative
For eligible homebound individuals and elderly, Bethlehem Centers’ Greater Charlotte Hot Lunch Cooperative (Meals on Wheels) serves a daily hot nutritious meal to more than 100 individuals.
Established in the early 1980s, the Greater Charlotte Hot Lunch Cooperative began as a collaboration of 5 North Nashville churches working together to feed 35 seniors a daily lunch. Nearly 30 years later, the Cooperative has expanded to 12 churches cooking a daily lunch for more than 100 North Nashville seniors. Each church picks a month to prepare the food for all recipients and volunteers who – help deliver those meals. This volunteer-operated program is managed by Bethlehem Centers of Nashville.
