The Nashville Mobile Market

The Nashville Mobile Market is a traveling grocery store on wheels that brings fresh produce and other healthy foods to the Nashville neighborhoods. Fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, and staple items—at all prices comparable to Kroger and other local options.

Thursdays- 12PM-2PM and Saturdays 9:30AM – 11:30 AM

BCN Child Care Closed

The Early Childhood School will be closed on Monday, February 20, 2012. Classes will resume on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Please contact Rachel Parker for more information- ext 225

Read To Me Week

Read Me Week is a week-long event that highlights the importance and fun of reading. During that week, we invite family members, other BCN staff, and friends from the community to be guest readers in our classrooms. In addition, we do lots of fun activities that reiterate the joy of reading.
This year’s celebration will be held February 27 – March 2. The theme is “Around the World with Books”. In honor of the theme, we will be highlighting a different country or continent each day. The places we have chosen are as follows:

Monday, February 27 – Mexico
Tuesday, February 28 – China
Wednesday, February 29 – Australia
Thursday, March 1 – Africa

Friday, March 2nd is Dr. Seuss’s birthday, so that day we will be celebrating him and his works.
Volunteers are needed to read throughout the week. Story times will be available during the following times, Monday through Friday:
9:00am – 11:30am
12:00pm – 12:30pm
3:00pm – 4:00pm
