Join us for our 6th Annual Community Festival! October 4, 2008 Watkins Park
In 2002, the Bethlehem Centers' Family Resource Center began hosting its Annual Watkins Park Community Festival for residents and families living in and nearby the Fisk/Meharry/Watkins Park community. The Watkins Parks Community Festival addresses the need for a creative family neighborhood event which informs, educates and encourages children, youth and adults to participate in the many opportunities offered.
While the festival is great street carnival fun, its primary purpose is to provide a showcase for all area agencies, churches and outreach programs to come together "under one tent" to educate the community.
This year we want to connect the new John Henry Hale Homes' residents with their neighbors in the Watkins Park community. For more information contact Steve Fleming at 615-329-3386 ext. 119 or sfleming@bethlehemcenters.org
